With adjustable heating up to 60 °C and three stainless steel shelves adjustable in 20 mm increments, the MP Dry Cabinet I ST accommodates a wide range of component sizes and packaging formats. An optional Peltier cooling unit can bring the cabinet interior down to a minimum of 10 °C, making it suitable for temperature-sensitive material storage as well.

The MP Dry Cabinet I ST is fitted with one MPDRY5 desiccant drying unit. The MPDRY5 operates continuously and silently, regenerating automatically to maintain the set humidity level. The drying unit is monitored by the integrated Rotronic precision sensor (±0.8% RH, 0.1 K), with alarms configurable for open-door events, time-defined humidity drift, and drying unit faults. An optional MPDRY5 additional unit can be specified for even faster humidity recovery.
The MP Dry Cabinet I ST features a full graphical IDEC touch display for intuitive operation and parameter setting. An integrated datalogger records all humidity, temperature and door-event data for traceability and compliance. LAN network connection and USB port provide remote monitoring capability and data export. Optional DyCabinet and DyTrace software enable full Industry 4.0 integration, including automated production data exchange, MES connectivity and email-based alarm notification.
The MP Dry Cabinet I ST is ESD-safe by design, with an integrated ESD grounding point and dithermal metal-coated safety glass door. Optional RFID access management with electromagnetic door lock ensures that only authorised operators can access stored materials, with all access events logged. Password-protected electromagnetic door lock with timer, mechanical door lock, and height-adjustable ESD wheels are also available options.

The MP Dry Cabinet I ST is ideal for IEC/IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 compliant storage of moisture-sensitive devices (MSD levels 2–5a), SMT components, bare PCBs, solder paste jars, underfill materials, flexible circuits, ceramic components and precision measuring instruments. Its compact 260-litre capacity suits production lines where floor space is limited but reliable humidity control is essential.
