XAVIS battery cell production lines cover cylindrical and prismatic cell assembly, pouch-cell packaging and pouch-cell degassing. Each is a distinct manufacturing process with its own cell handling and configuration requirements.
The 18650/21700 cylindrical-cell manufacturing material lists jelly-roll insertion, tab welding, electrolyte filling, crimping, washing and tubing. Its published production rating is 150–300 cells per minute, depending on the configured line.
A separate larger-format cylindrical line is also listed, with a published rating of 150 cells per minute. Confirm its exact cell-format designation, as the supplier page and brochure labels differ.
Prismatic assembly is documented for mobile and EV/ESS configurations. The mobile process includes nickel-strip welding, jelly-roll insertion, can and cap welding, electrolyte filling, pre-formation, and ball insertion and welding. Its published rating is 30 cells per minute. The EV/ESS process material shows jelly-roll deployment, terminal welding, Mylar packing, insertion, and can and cap welding.
The pouch-cell packaging family includes tab welding, pouch forming, cell assembly, electrolyte filling and wetting, followed by vacuum sealing. The supplier publishes ratings of 18 cells per minute for the mobile configuration and 12 cells per minute for the EV/ESS configuration.
Degassing is documented as a separate production stage. The process includes degassing, resealing, trimming and folding, together with associated gauging and inspection. Published ratings are 35 cells per minute for the mobile configuration and 12 cells per minute for the EV/ESS configuration.
A useful enquiry identifies cell format, process inputs and outputs, the operations to be included and the target production rate. Supplier ratings are configuration-specific; the final process sequence and line capacity require review against the proposed cell. The supplier image illustrates cylindrical-cell assembly equipment. Confirm the layout and process scope for the proposed line.
