The XAVIS XSCAN-8000 series covers industrial CT configurations for electronic components, batteries, diecast parts and automotive parts.
The 8225(BCT) and 8225(CT) configurations are listed at 225 kV and 280 W. The 8300(CT) is listed at 300 kV and 280 W. The range uses an open tube with a 4 µm focal spot.
Supplier information lists 5-, 8-, 12- and 16-inch detector configurations. These are configuration choices, not a claim that every detector is fitted to every machine.
The broad application range makes the sample material and inspection task important selection inputs. A battery inspection enquiry and a diecast-part enquiry may require different source and detector choices even within the same series.
Provide the part dimensions, material, area of interest and required internal views when discussing the XSCAN-8000. Confirm the exact source, detector and reconstruction requirements for the proposed configuration before relying on a model comparison.
Identify the features to measure or review, the largest sample envelope and the intended evaluation criteria. Agree how images or reconstructed data will be assessed. Tube focal-spot size alone does not establish the smallest defect that can be detected in every part.
