Work Positioning Systems

Sir Safety work positioning systems let workers position themselves hands-free at height — tower climbing, pole work, formwork, and scaffolding. EN 358 certified lanyards, lateral attachment points, and accessories supplied across Australia and New Zealand by ProfTek.

Technical Specifications

Standard: EN 358:2018 (work positioning belts and lanyards)
Used with: Lateral D-rings on EN 361 harness (Stratos 30, Sokoi 13 models)
Lanyard types: Fixed length, adjustable, with positioning hook
IMPORTANT: EN 358 positioning is NOT fall arrest — always combine with a separate EN 360/EN 363 fall arrest system

System Compatibility

Work positioning is a supplement to, not a replacement for, fall arrest. A complete working-at-height system includes the EN 361 harness (with lateral D-rings if positioning is needed), an EN 358 positioning lanyard, AND an EN 360 SRL or EN 354 lanyard with EN 355 energy absorber for fall arrest. ProfTek can specify a complete system per the task and arrange formal user training.
