Sir Safety safety ropes and lanyards are EN 354 certified work-at-height connection components. Braided polyamide rope, kernmantel construction, and adjustable lanyards with integrated energy absorbers and snap-hooks — supplied across Australia and New Zealand by ProfTek.

Fall Distance Calculation

Lanyard length, energy absorber deployment (up to 1.75 m), worker height, and anchor position all contribute to total fall distance. The arrest must complete before the worker reaches a lower level — this is why short SRLs are often preferred over fixed lanyards on low platforms. ProfTek can help calculate fall clearance for your work platform and specify the lanyard length appropriately.
