Matching Glove to Chemical Profile

Breakthrough time data is the critical parameter. Nitrile handles most petroleum-based solvents and weak acids well but degrades quickly in ketones (acetone, MEK). Neoprene covers a wider range including aromatic hydrocarbons. PVC excels with strong acids. Butyl is the go-to for ketones, esters, and aldehydes. ProfTek can supply Sir Safety EN 374 datasheets per chemical so your safety officer can pair the right glove to the SDS for each handled substance.
