The XAVIS food metal detectors range includes configurations for general packaging, non-metallic packages and aluminium packaging. Packaging material is a key distinction when comparing these systems.
MDN100D is listed for general packaging. Its supplier sheet describes touchscreen setup, operating and detection records, and USB backup. MDF200T includes TM and TLM configurations for small and large non-metallic packages.
The MDN200A Aluscan series includes AH premium, AD standard, AV and AP configurations. For the MDN200AH premium configuration, the supplier’s NAH-W240, NAH-W360 and NAH-W480 sheet lists effective detection widths of 240, 360 and 480 mm and conveyor speeds of 10–50 m/min. A 15.6-inch colour touch display is listed for this configuration; remote monitoring and networking are optional.
MDF300A is separately listed for aluminium packaging. The configuration labels and dimensions should be confirmed against the selected model rather than transferred between detector families.
Identify the product, package material, pack dimensions and line rate. Define the contaminant test pieces and required assessment conditions when considering a sample evaluation. Detection performance should be confirmed for the actual product and package; no universal contaminant-size claim is made here.
