The XAVIS FSCAN-6280D is a large-package conveyor X-ray family with D and DAC configurations. Its 620 mm belt offers a wider conveyor format than the supplier’s 420 mm packaged-product models.
Confirm whether the D or DAC configuration is required and check the usable opening for the intended package. The 6280D and 6500D have separate generator specifications. The selected model specification should guide the comparison.
Package width, height, weight and filled-product composition should be considered alongside the required inspection target. Conveyor speed and weight ratings are selection limits, not a guarantee that every product can be inspected to the same result at maximum speed.
Provide the largest and smallest filled packages and describe how they travel on the line. Agree the contaminants or product features to assess, including the required operating conditions. Confirm the chosen opening, transfer arrangement and current equipment drawings during configuration review.
