XAVIS vision inspection covers application examples and inspection software for visible product and packaging features.
Supplier application records cover printed date-code inspection, packaging defects and label inspection. These are distinct visual inspection tasks that need to be defined around the package and the expected appearance.
The supplier also lists foreign-material and missing-item inspection. Application examples do not establish that a camera system will detect every material or every concealed item. Lighting, presentation and visibility need to be considered for the proposed task.
Vision software is included in the supplier information. Specify the feature to inspect, acceptable variation, pack presentation and required result or data output when discussing a solution. A representative set of acceptable and defective samples can help define the inspection boundary.
Include the available viewing position, product orientation and expected line conditions. Agree the visual criteria for each task before reviewing a proposed configuration, including how false rejects and ambiguous samples will be evaluated.
The supplier image shows a printed date code on milk packaging as an application example. It is not an image of inspection hardware or a complete production-line configuration.
