CHAINSAW PROTECTION GLOVE CUFF+VELCRO MA1829

Special Protection Gloves

Sir Safety special protection gloves cover the specialist hazards that fall outside standard mechanical, cut, heat, cold, or chemical categories — electrical (arc flash), vibration damping, antistatic / ESD, and high-visibility tasks. ProfTek supplies the Electro, anti-vibration, and ESD ranges across Australia and New Zealand.

Specialist Categories

  • Electrical / Arc Flash: Electro Class 00, 0, 1, 2, 3 (proof voltage 500 V to 26,500 V) for live work and switching
  • Anti-Vibration: EN ISO 10819 vibration-damped gloves for chainsaw, jackhammer, and hand-tool operators
  • Antistatic / ESD: EN 16350 charge-dissipating gloves for electronics assembly and cleanroom work
  • Chainsaw Protection: EN 381-7 cut-resistant for forestry and arboriculture

Specialist Selection Notes

Electrical gloves require an over-glove leather protector for mechanical durability — never use them bare-handed. They also need formal dielectric retest every six months per AS/NZS 2225. Anti-vibration gloves reduce HAV (hand-arm vibration) exposure but should be paired with task rotation and tool selection for full compliance with WHS exposure limits. ProfTek can advise on the right rating and the testing/inspection cycle for your safety case.
