Special Protection Gloves matched to the workplace

Sir Safety special protection gloves cover the specialist hazards that fall outside standard mechanical, cut, heat, cold, or chemical categories, electrical (arc flash), vibration damping, antistatic / ESD, and high-visibility tasks. ProfTek supplies the Electro, anti-vibration, and ESD ranges across Australia and New Zealand.Specialist CategoriesElectrical / Arc Flash: Electro Class 00, 0, 1, 2, 3 (proof voltage 500 V to 26,500 V) for live work and switchingAnti-Vibration: EN ISO 10819 vibration-damped gloves for chainsaw, jackhammer, and hand-tool operatorsAntistatic / ESD: EN 16350 charge-dissipating gloves for electronics assembly and cleanroom workChainsaw Protection: EN 381-7 cut-resistant for forestry and arboricultureSpecialist Selection NotesElectrical gloves require an over-glove leather protector for mechanical durability, never use them bare-handed. They also need formal dielectric retest every six months per AS/NZS 2225. Anti-vibration gloves reduce HAV (hand-arm vibration) exposure but should be paired with task rotation and tool selection for full compliance with WHS exposure limits. ProfTek can advise on the right rating and the testing/inspection cycle for your safety case.
